As we work to bring digital programming and resources to more children and families throughout southern Arizona, we know partnerships are key to meeting the diverse and changing needs of families. This year, we are proud to announce our new partnership with the Native American Advancement Foundation (NAAF) to bring Virtual Story School and the Make Way for Books App to children and families living in the GuVo District of the Tohono O’odham Nation. NAAF’s goal is to strengthen Native American communities by building brighter futures and they serve the Tohono O’odham Nation in areas including education, arts, culture, health, and more.
Together, we’re working with NAAF to adapt programming to address the digital divide and ensure children and families have access to high-quality books and culturally-responsive literacy and learning experiences.
