Community Literacy Volunteers assist with our early literacy programs for young children and families. Placement is based on the availability and experience of the volunteer. Community Literacy Volunteers assist our Family Literacy Specialists with set-up and take-down, attendance, providing materials for program participants, taking photographs, giving books to families, and other activities to support staff. We ask that volunteers are available every week for 12 weeks at the same program location and time.
