Professional Development Institute
Make Way for Books workshops are interactive, hands-on, and research-based. Workshops cover topics such as: read-aloud techniques, storytime models, integrating literacy into daily activities, supporting social-emotional development through literacy, infant and toddler language development, and sharing informational text. Cafecito (Professional Development for family home care professionals)
Our Early Literacy Consultants provide activities you and the children (birth-eight) in your care can share together to support language and literacy development. Family members and children are welcome to come as well.

Twice a year, Make Way for Books invites child care centers and home providers to share five books a day with their children for five days.
